About Us

Bodyworks Fitness Club is for members and their guests only and is operated
by a non-profit society run by a volunteer Board of Directors. 
It is funded by membership fees and revenues from a casino held
approximately every 2 years.

It is an unsupervised facility and as such can be accessed 24 hrs/day.  Our primary
goal is to promote health and wellness in and around our community.  We have
actively sought to promote our mandate by keeping costs as low as possible to
make them affordable for all.

Our 3400 square foot facility is attached to County Central High School and
operates under a joint-use agreement.  This allows student use during
school hours on a supervised basis.

We have a special arrangement with the Wheat Country Special Needs Society
making it possible for those community members to take advantage of the facility
and we lease time and space to Alberta Health Services for a Living Well with a
Chronic Illness Program run on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 0930 -1030 hrs.

We also work with Adult Learning to promote fitness by offering classroom space
for a variety of fitness related classes.

Memberships & Fees

We have 6-month and 1-year memberships for individuals and families beginning
in April or October.  One year student memberships sold in October are also available
for students. If you purchase a membership between those times it will be pro-rated
accordingly.  We also allow short term memberships for out-of-town workers as well
as participation on a drop-in basis only when accompanied by a gym member.

Fees: One year individual   $165.00

          6-month individual     $115.00

          One year family          $330.00

          6 month family            $230.00

          One year student       $115.00

 In addition there is a $25.00 one time refundable deposit for the access card.
