MSI Grant

What is MSI?
The Municipal Sustainability Initiative (MSI) is the Province of Alberta’s commitment to provide significant long-term funding to enhance municipal sustainability and to enable municipalities to meet the demands of growth.
Municipalities determine projects and activities to be funded by MSI based on local priorities within the general criteria set out in the program guidelines and are encouraged to take a long-term approach to planning for capital projects.

Where does the Grants go in Vulcan?
Grants go towards the operational costs of recreational groups within the Vulcan & District Recreation area are available through the Municipal Sustainability Initiative Grant.

Who can apply?
MSI Grant is available to all residents of the Vulcan and District Recreation area.

How can I apply?
To make your application for your group please do so by Nov 15^th and drop it
off at the Vulcan & District Recreation office at 321-2^nd Street South (town office).
