Swimming Lessons
The Vulcan Pool will be holding Red Cross swim lessons for children and adults of all ages. For more information call the pool at 403-45-2990.
Session 1- July 4th-8th
Session2- July 11th-15th
Session 3- July 18th-22nd
Session 4- July 25th- 29th
Session 5- August 1st- 5th
Session 6- August 8th-12th
Session 7- August 15th- 19th
Red Cross Swim Preschool
For children ages 5 and under. An introductory set of swimming lessons focussed on teaching the basics. Varies from parented to independent lessons.
Red Cross Swim Kids
For children ages 6 years or older. This is a progressive set on lessons that helps kids to become great swimmers.
*Please note that adult lessons are available. Contact the pool to inquire.
Bronze Medallion
This lifesaving course provides training and knowledge in water rescue, physical fitness, resuscitation skills, judgement and decision making. Candidates must be 13 years old or older.
Will run June 23-25. Cost is $150.00
Bronze Cross
This lifesaving course will teach candidates how to respond in complete water rescue situations and develop skill for teamwork and safe aquatic supervision.
Will run July 8-10. Cost is $150.00
(Cost for both bronze medallion and bronze cross is $250.00)
Pool rentals are an excellent idea for birthday parties, family reunions, or a picnic. The pool staff will be pleased to give you any more information you may need.

June 4: Tinman Triathalon: The pool will be closed due to the triathalon.
Please come out and cheer on the competitors!
June 11: Vulcan Spock Days: Join in the festivities with a day of free public and family swim. Be sure to look out for our staff in the parade!
July 1: Canada Day: Free swimming from 12:00p.m.- 4p.m.
August 28: Giant Bubble Bath Party!: In honour of the last day of the pool, we will celebrate with our annual bubble bath. Come at 1:00p.m. and join in the fun.
