Derek has been involved in hockey for over 40 years. He played AAA with the Foothills Bisons, Junior in Okotoks and finished his playing career in Australia in 2000. For the past 22 years, he has coached elite hockey. He has coached everything from U13AA through to U18AAA in both the male and female streams. In addition, Derek has worked with the Okotoks Oilers and the Lloydminster Bobcats programs in a scouting capacity. Starting a Jr. A program has long been a passion and desire. In addition to the Jr. team, the Rampage also have 3 teams playing in the Premier Hockey League (PHL).
Trever is a successful business owner who has grown a small grassroots company into a medium-sized professional organization that supports some of the brightest minds in the business in which he works. Although Trever only skated in the minor hockey leagues his passion for hockey comes from his wife who has skated at the national lever in figure skating and has been a figure skating instructor, a hockey and ringette power skating coach for over 16 years. They have taught their 3 kids the love of skating and hockey. All kids currently play at elite levels of hockey. Their eldest son finished the 2022 season playing U18AAA out of Notre Dame and now off to Junior hockey and has been scouted for NCAA DIV III, the youngest son U15AAA out of Notre Dame and now off to a WHL main camp and their daughter trains with the Girls U18AA out of Notre Dame. Trever understands the commitment and dedication involved with business and hockey. He understands the challenges of navigating the Junior levels, loves the sport and wants to see all players excel and succeed.
