The Town of Vulcan is part of the Palliser Regional School Division. There are two public schools located within the Town. Prairieview Elementary School serves students from Pre-school to Grade 6 and Vulcan Country Central High School serves students from Grade 7 to Grade 12. Palliser Beyond Borders – Vulcan Outreach School offers an alternative for students who benefit from a non-traditional individualized program delivering Alberta Educations curriculum. These programs offer flexibility to accommodate students who are working, have child care needs or other circumstances.
Vulcan County Adult Learning and Rainbow Literacy Society provide non-credit continuing education opportunities through local instruction and video conference. They also provide a few credit courses through a partnership with Lethbridge College and the Vulcan Business Development Society. These courses can be taken at the Lethbridge College satellite campus in Vulcan.
